Survival guide

Everything the horde will not tell you. How to get into a match, what every machine on the map does, which specials to shoot first, and how to climb from Recruit to Undying. Every number on this page is read straight from the game.

  • 1 to 6 players
  • 500 starting points
  • Boss every 10 rounds
  • Goal: round 100

01Getting started

Quick start

Zombiez is a co-op survival mode inside the PlexaRP GTA V server. You hold out against endless rounds of the dead, alone or with up to five friends, spending points to arm up as the horde gets faster and nastier.

  1. 1

    Join PlexaRP

Connect to the PlexaRP FiveM server and spawn any character. Your Zombiez level and store unlocks belong to your account, so every character shares them.

  2. 2

    Type /zombiez

From the open world, on foot and off duty, type /zombiez in chat (or /zombies, /zh) to open the lobby. /zombiez leave quits a match and /zombiez rp takes you back to the city.

  3. 3

    Pick a map and survive

Quick Play drops you into the fullest public lobby. Or create your own, pick a map and a mode, and bring your crew with a five-character lobby code.

How a match plays

Fourteen things every survivor should know before round one.

03Getting started

The maps

Each match runs in its own copy of the arena. Maps differ in wall guns, perk machines, crate spots and what is waiting at the centre.

04Getting started

In-game controls

These keys work inside a Zombiez match in GTA V, not on this website. You can change them in your FiveM key bindings.

05Surviving

Rounds and modes

Every round sends more zombies, and they get tougher, faster and hit harder, without end. Every fifth round is a Hellhound round and every tenth brings a boss.

06Surviving

Points and prices

Points are the only currency inside a match. Earn them by hurting the horde, spend them on guns, perks, armour and gates that open more of the map.

07Surviving

Weapons and overclocking

You start with the Pistol and the Knife. Wall guns are chalked on the walls at a fixed price, the Mystery Crate rolls a random gun, and the Overclock Bench pushes whatever is in your hands through ten tiers.

08Surviving

Perk machines

Perk machines sell buffs that stack on top of each other. You can hold four at a time, five with the Extra Gulp store upgrade.

09Surviving

Shop and loadouts

The in-match shop sells belt items you can use mid-round. Before round 2 you also pick one free loadout.
